Blogging On A Blogging Blog: What Happens When You Are All Blogged Out?

Get Ready, Get Set, BLOG QUICK...before you lose your train of thought!

OK, I had a thought.... once. It was very lonely. So, this is my motivation blog. The blog that is going to get me back on track. The blog that is going to give me that sudden spark of insight that will develop into an epiphany, turning into my usual brilliance!

Had you going there, huh? Right up until the "brilliance" part... I know. I realize I have lived for more years than I would like to admit and, along the way, have gathered a great deal of information, mostly useless. I mean, what was up with that times tables thing? Did no one have the foresight to realize once the Vic-20 hit the scene, the tech revolution was right around the corner? Yes, the Vic-20. I am THAT old!  (ROTFL!)

My Attempts To Write

In my attempts to write, I have tackled topics involving my twin brothers, their Viet Nam tours, my years as a teacher, and assorted episodes I would mark "Other".   I have included friends and family.  I have also given the accounts of my various careers, from having a paper route to becoming a teacher.

Through all of this, the experience has been very fulfilling.  I always manage to hit upon something that carries me through the hub.  Then I rewrite, if necessary.  Then I post.  After over 100 semi-ok hubs, I was stuck.  That is why I am here.  As I am writing now, I think I have a couple more stories to tell.

This Is It

As I try to navigate through the clutter that is my head, I always seem to see a light at the end of the tunnel.  Sometimes it is an illusion with kaleidoscope eyes.  However, I know if I keep going, ultimately, sense will come.  It is well worth the wait.  I know because I have written some very inadequate hubs.  Not a lot, but enough to say "many".

I am now hoping that, even as I write, something is forming in my mind that may develop into ... a plan!  So I ponder, deliberate, investigate, and utilize as many cool words as I can, hoping for that elusive idea that will magically form my next hub.  It must be spectacular and unique.  In lieu of that, I will also accept "passable" if...  I  ...  can  ....  just .....  imagine  .... the... ending...

Seakay, great tips. I just try to write this year. The first one is the most difficult one, but when you roll it getting easier.

I love the picture you put in here as well, so colorful.

Unlike you all, I don't have enough time to write about all the things bursting in my head. My daytime job is swallowing me up. You're a great writer so there's no doubt the ideas will come. Great Hub.
